Four Warriors Honored with NCCAA Postseason Awards

Kyle Steele earns NCCAA Coach of the Year; Jan Lopuch earns NCCAA Player of the Year

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The champions of the NCCAA are receiving more recognition as the 2025 All-American teams were announced on Friday. Three Warriors have cemented their name with All-American status, while Jessup's coach is being recognized for his work in the program's inaugural season.
 
Head coach Kyle Steele, who guided both the men's and women's volleyball programs to the national championship game, has been named the 2025 NCCAA Men's Volleyball Coach of the Year. Steele's Warriors won 12 of 13 sets in the national tournament, a tournament they exited as the national champions.
 
The inaugural men's volleyball season at Jessup saw the Warriors finish 15-9.
 
Also being recognized as the best in the country is junior Jan Lopuch as he was named the NCCAA Player of the Year. Lopuch earned Most Outstanding Player at the NCCAA Tournament after leading the field in kills over the weekend.
 
Lopuch closed out the season with 372 kills, the most in the NCCAA, on a .328 hitting percentage. He led the NCCAA in kills per set (4.18), points (431), and points per set (4.84).
 
 
Joining Lopuch as a First-Team All-American is freshman Owen Henning. Henning's .410 hitting percentage was the second-highest in the NCCAA, and he finished his first collegiate season with 156 kills.
 
Taylor Marks claimed Second-Team All-American honors in his lone season with the Warriors. The senior's 878 assists ranked fourth in the NCCAA, and he finished second with 9.98 assists per set.
