PHOENIX, Ariz. - Competing in their final tournament of the Fall season, the men's golf team traveled down to Phoenix to compete at the Firestorm Invitational hosted by conference foe and nationally ranked Arizona Christian. In a field of nine teams, the Warriors finished fifth overall with a 590 total over the two rounds and two days on the Moon Valley Country Club course.

Jacob Custodio and
Oliver Csanyi."
After the first day on the green, the Warriors were tied for second with a total round score of 292, just four strokes off the top slot held by conference opponent, and also nationally recognized The Master's University with a total 289.
Completing their final 18-holes on the last day, the Warriors added some strokes but had some personal best top finishes as well. Leading the attack was Custodio tied for 11th with his 73-73 scores, just two over par. Â Close behind was teammate Csanyi shooting a 72-72, finishing tied for 14th,
Hunter Newlin (73-75) tied for 27th and
Dominic Salomone (75-80).
Tyus Goring closed out the Warriors working with some swing changes with a solid bounce back round for 159 total.
The Warriors will break until they start back up in the spring heading back to Phoenix for the ACU Invitational on February 11th.
