Box Score 2 FULLERTON, Calif. - The 2024 GSAC season was underway as Jessup Tennis headed down south to take on Hope International University.
Men's tennis secured their first conference win, defeating Hope International 4-3. This is the first-ever win that Jessup has secured over the Royals in program history.
Doubles play for the men began with wins from pairings of
Caleb Poling and Issac Graves as well as
Henrique Levy, and
Tanner Sitanggang.
Singles play proved evident for the men, as they would scratch three points to secure victory for the Warriors. Points would come from
Austrebeto Carlon,
Joan Garros, and
Caleb Poling.
The women's team would fall to the Royals in a final score of 6-1, with the single point coming from
Jessica Holbea in singles play.
The Warriors will continue this season's GSAC play in SoCal tomorrow against Westcliff University. The men are scheduled to take on Warriors of Westcliff at 12:00 PM and the women at 1:30 PM. Both teams will take the court at OC Great Park in Irvine, California.
